SO, ~Miehelfin gave me a three month subscription! I do love him!


Soooo here's that thing updated:

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

REMEMBER this is about ways you can help people through what you have. You do not need to blow all your savings on this , it is simply to get that good feeling when you help people out

1) There's a picture of my mum in my gallery, 'I just Saw a Face' -I think. I wish someone would paint/draw that/ do something cool with it!

2) I would really really like a three month dA Subscription. Been wanting one for ages so ideal Christmas present! [FULFILLED]

3) 'In this light and on this Evening' (Editors) special edition! [FULFILLED by ~my-berlin-wall soon]

4) A Diana Mini! Because it's a beautiful, beautiful camera!! Or a Diana instant back instead because it looks like it would be a LOT of fun!

5) A tripod. Don't mind if it's second hand! As long as it's a bit more stable than the one I've got.

6) One day in a darkroom! [TECHNICALLY FULFILLED by *jewlogic ]

7) Money to buy tickets to go see Marsch ( )in Manchester. It must also be noted that she's not allowed to pay for me to go there so instead of this wish...

8) I'd REALLY like Marsch to come up here to Aberdeen! [FULFILLED by ~my-berlin-wall soon]

9) Tickets to go see Editors in February

10) For eeeeeveryone to have a fantastic Christmas/Hanukkah/both/holidays in general.
